Soutien Gorge is a experimental electronic band from Hungary mainly made by Andr�s Hargitai and his friend Robert Potys. Their music are droney and experimental tunes with electronic stuff. Andr�s played 2004 at the Sonar-Fesival and organizes the great netlabel complementary distribution and the label Bitlab Records. Read more at their FAQ.

The Gelbes Licht Ep is a minimal engeneered music with nonlinear distribution. The line it follows is an own line. I especially like the names of the tracks. I have to say that. This ep is an exclusive work for 2063music. I asked then to come up with an ep after I heard the first release on complementary distribution. I think this is more for darker days, grey days and also the artwork from Karex is something I really like. Go on guys.

Kazooo - The Ramp (63_059)

"When I write code, then it had to be quiet, the night is best. But when I make music than everything must be on: the people in the street, the tv, everything", said Kazooo last night via instant messaging. We were preparing this release and really put some work into it. "The Ramp" is an ep where kazooo hits the essence of his style at a very precise level. Squirrling loops and blank beats make this mixture of music that I want to call: addictive techno. I don't know how to describe it, but when I listen to kazooo's tracks, there is always that moment of more, that moment of don't stop this loop, because it feels and sounds so good. I am still waiting for a website with Kazooos complete discography. Are there any teenage fanclubs out there? Would be great.

I've taken two of my most loved artworks from my doodlebox to illustrate the release. I am not the one to comment my own work, but feel free to leave a comment below about that.

Transfolmer - Transfolmer (63LP005)

Well, this is the first time we have real songs on 2063music! Tjeerd Folmer plays guitar, sings and also use his computer to edit this music. His setup is quite minimal and you will mostly hear just echoing guitars, some spare beats and his deep velvet voice. I can't tell exactly, but this is just so perfect wintermusic! Somewhere between bright wintermornings of beauty and melancholic states of darkness. I think this line of Tjeerds lyrics does it descibes very well: "I know that I can change, It only takes some time to make things new."

The paintings of Tjeerds girlfriend Liesbeth Kok fit just perfect to the music of Transfolmer. Her paintings are just as Transfolmers music strong, colorful, warm and melancholic. I like them a lot. It was impossible to have this release without thouse beautiful paintings. If someone is interested in making an exhibition, please feel free to write Lisbeth a mail. They are both from the Netherlands. And they would be happy.

Darren McClure - Zonal Sounds (63_058)

New artist Darren McClure is recently living in Japan. This is maybe one of his inspiration for the minimal microsounds he makes. He came to 2063music by writing a very, very nice letter (thanks again, Darren!) including his demo CD. Darren just knew exactly what he did, the sounds he sent were one hundert percent 2063music style in a pretty high quality. So it was no wonder that I agreed in releaseing this excellent EP.

Darrens music unveils itself in a natural logic, but the sounds he uses are very artificial. Some people I know can't can listen to this very closely, but it is really worth trying. The standart themes are missing and it is very pure. If you love the sounds from Phoenelai, you will also love this EP.

Phonout is a very gifted artist from Germany. I like to compare his skills to Warp-Artist Plaid: every piece of music he touches becomes instantly groove and energy.

The ROM-Tree Ep is a dedication to a "sculptural approach" from Phonout. ROM stands for "Random Only Memory". The music and the sculpture follow this rule: to make a readable memory from random bits.

Phoenelai - Tribute to THX1138 (63_056)

This is a tribute to the exellent movie "THX1138" from George Lucas. The movie was re-released in 2004 on DVD as a directors cut. A totalitarian state is controlling humans. They got drugs to work and function and all has been cared for the people. They live in incredible white and minimal cityscapes. The characters THX1138 and LUH3417 try a escape.

Phoenelais intentioan was to give the movie a more positive soundtrack. This is the first time he worked with loops and the soundscapes are brilliant pieces of droney, electronic listening music. Note the incredible break in the track thx.1. Also go and buy a copy of the movie. It is a must have seen for every 2063music fan.

Fosilii - xgender ep (63_055)

New artist fosilii (Alessandro They) made a some of this tracks in London and some in Italy, where he now lives. The tracks range between raw and improvised electronic and very timeless emotional sounds. This ep is first preview of more interesting things to come and have a vibe, that reminds me of even more electronic vinyls i discovered in the mid-90ies.

The artwork was made my Francesca, who calles herself effelogo. She is the girlfriend from fosilii and this artwork were created when both were distant. She in Italy, he in Great Britain. So the very idea is to have them both united in the virtual space of 2063music.

This is what i call REAL experimental music. Imagine Disco/Lounge beats meets Acid, mixed up to an epic tale. Andreas Seibel, who is well known in the netlabelscene as Dataman, is presenting his first Nights in Ural release on 2063. The Ural has a special role in Andreas life. He has no conscious memory on the Ural where he was born, but he uses this cold and sparse landscapes as a projection screen for his desires. This imaginative landscapes lead to a very visual and almost epic approach. "Nights in Ural is reflecting my desire for loneliness", he told me in a mail.

I explicit supported Andreas idea of making something strage with downbeats and 303 elements and i'm very curious about more things to come!

Ruben D'Hers: self-taught venezuelan musician who has developed a special taste for avant-garde music, exploring in a personal and different way the performance of his main instrument: the guitar. kazooo - exposed ep (63_053)

The 'Exposed EP' from kazooo is the second release on 2063music after his 'sparse rotation' LP. The LP was more searching for an ambience in technomusic. Now the Exposed EP is far more searching for something, that I want to call 'Listening Techno'. Hard edged basslines meet warm and fat bassdrums, while the tempo ist not too fast. This is very clean techno with concise breaks, that are not distracting the listening mode. I could imagine to listen to this music in a lounge-chair in the year 2017. A lounge listening experience.
