5 years 2063music compilation by various artists (63_050)

Artwork: Yuan Peng
We have two reason to be on gala mode. Five years on 2063 and 050 releases counting on 2063 (not counting the LPs). This made me organize a 'shopwindow' on the 'lange Nacht der Kultur' in the very homebase of 2063music, octagone and tonatom: Kaiserslautern. Tonight I will play an scapemix with special visuals to bring our great music to the peoples ears. For the people who cannot join this event I compiled this little compilation for your convenience. Big, Big, Big thanks go to all the artists and other people who supported this label and the netaudiospirit, but also to some special, who didn't believe (and gave me power to struggle). Special thanks go to: all artists who released, Dirk Murschall ([in]anace), Digitalis, Soundrix, Matthias Reinwarth (tonatom), Yuan Peng, mono211, Thinner/Autoplate, Mo the Phlow, Jörg and the Ideology-crew, Kai and the Villenfamilie, Jacek and the Aix-people, Stephan Baumann, the Node3000-crew, Albert Csiki, finally my parents and on the first place Anna. And of course all people I simply forget to mention.

Some information on the tracks:
Raemus opens this collection in a very silent way. After his 'nine days' ep he shows again, that he can create very intensive futuristic rooms with audio. it's a very intense close listening experience. you can be sure to meet more raemus on 2063music.
Albert Csiki aka Atomic Ages is the newest artist in here. He comes directly from the Kaiserslautern underground and works over 10 years on his very own music. His inspiration comes from 70ies german electronica, as well as from nature and electronic generated sounds. He is interested in the opposites of nature-electronic and the warmth and coldness and the intermingling of them. This featured track specialwater from his 'macromelia cd-r-lp' is a field recording of water mixed with synthetic generated water-like sound. Albert told me, that after finishing this track, he couldn't tell anymore what sound was from nature and what comes from the inside of the machines.
[still]amaze is a remix of 020200 never released duesseldorf2 track. This briliant piece of electronic music is one of the last - if not the last - tracks [in]anace did. About that time Dirk Murschall decided to gave up music making and to spend time and effort to mp3-djing, including the subsources submixes and organizing music at clubs and bars. He also did some great netaudionights in nuernberg in the last years. But this is one of the tracks that made me asking: why the hell did you gave up music making? He answered me the question on some day: "I couldn't imagine anymore how to innovate eletronic music, so I gave up!"
Phoenelai's structure two is a preview of his 'rebuilding the strucutres' ep that will be released in summer under the cat.no: 63_052. I came into contact with phoene++ via the octagone-mailinglist one or two years ago. He simply does great and wonderful scapes of sound. Be sure to check his releases on 2063, octagone, retinascan and his own recordlabel fidgetstone.
Digitalis are a category of its own. Both are PowerBook traveler and would meet and play with musicians in whole europe if they could split and send clones everywhere. For me Digitalis is one of the most essential netmusicartists at present. Besides supporting netmusicevents they did with 'arab' another exclusive musicpiece for 2063. They are currently working on their first album (yes!). Be sure to keep an eye on the activities of this activists!
Void data is after a long periodt of no releases finnaly a scape from me (020200)! I am experimenting with software, hardware, analog music instruments and field recordings for the last 3 years without releasing much music (if any). But with void data I catched something that I really like: I used an software setup from the music interface experimentalists ixi and worked it up a little. The result is a very strange scape, that follows its own rules that leads a to intensive way of listening.
kAzooo do a lot of hell much music. After many great releases on various netlabels he also contributes this compilation. After having listenings to his recent releases on acediamusic and realaudio i figured out that he is exploring a very individual style of dance / listening techno. One of the most interesting and arising artist of 2003/2004. and kAz: maybe we will be some explorations in between gfx/audio...? who knows....
Nightech gave me this this track. A deep journey into subcouncious field like on the 2075off LP. There is much interesting music from russia with intense vibes.
Unfortunately 833-45 couldn't manage to finish his contribution.
 2063music loves you!
